Our hours on the weekends do change in the Winter vs. Summer. We would hate to have you make a trip and not have us be open. Please take a look at season changes.
We hope you enjoy going though our web site. Our site has lots of photos for your viewing pleasure and as a means to enable you to obtain a good idea about the services we provide and who we are in relation to our kennel services; especially with our "Day Care" program.

Update... For all of those who have watched this talented young dog though this past year; along with us, she is one of our pups kept for our 2006 Started Dog Program.
This talented dog named Powder. Two (2) days after turning 18 months, qualified for her first Urban Disaster Search and Rescue Test through FEMA (Advance)
Powder, (Nicknamed PowPow) and Owner / Handler - Lt. Brian Smithey are with Tampa Fire and Rescue, out of Florida.
Powder is out of a Breeding between our HR Maranathas Pewter to Gold SH WCX and a well known Field Champion FC Running with the Devil. Two other pups from this Repeat breeding are also doing USAR training/work, and doing well.
We do wish them all the best, and great success.
"Pewter", (the mom)...,has more pups now in our Started dog program.

To come to our Kennel facility, you need to come up a "long" driveway. You "MUST" drive the posted speed limit of 5 MPH; ESPECIALLY coming into the high traffic areas (Parking lots).
We love all of our Dog's, our Customers Dog(s), not to mention our Grandchildren that come for visits, so we appreciate your helping us with this safety measure as it may save a life someday.

New for Obedience; along with our Bootcamp that takes dogs 6 months and up, we are offering a "Puppy Boot Camp; but its really not a bootcamp... its to take in puppies and for 3 weeks, teach them many of the basic behaviors, and perhaps undo some already existing "bad" behaviors.

No Tours are offered at this time, but with this aerial view,you can see the buildings, Training Center (by Top Pond), all our large outside Pens (for those in Day Care, or regular Boarders that ask for extra exercise for their dog while here)
For our Day Care Customers the back 5 acres is now all fenced in and go for supervised walks, plenty of water/land for them to enjoy.
One of our 2008 goals is to fence in the front field...
coming up the driveway you can see the Agility/confidence course, for our Training dogs - which include, our own, S&R, Retriever training, and those in Boot Camp

Maranatha Kennels Is proud to announce that another pup from our Started Dog program at a little over two years of age, has just passed their Advance FEMA USAR Test...we want to Congratulate Rico and his dog Primer who are with Tampa Fire and Rescue in Florida.
Maranathas Quick "Primer" left here when he was 12 months of age, out of our Started Dog program, He had been working on his Retriever Training Skills, and had started competing

We call her Pride (She is now working on her Master Title through AKC and HRC) For anyone looking for a working pup, she has been bred to FC CAFC Money Talks II, Pups due end of July...Sires Call name is Copper.... (Picture of him on our puppy page) She has two other pups already in Miami Florida, that are also being trained for speciality work with USAR.

Gus actually got "3" first places in Competitive obedience to achieve his CD Title...also got his RN Title in Rally and Maybe, now also titled with her RN and CD title... ...GREAT JOB!!

Class of 2008....check Started Dog page for more pictures of past Graduates from our Started Dog program...This program was started in 2006, to give pups a "start"...with Obedience, Agility/confidence building, socialized, exposed to many things, as they go on misc. field trips each week...these pups later go into a more advance training for a special task..."or" are wanted by many as just a family pet and companion...

We call him "Pledge", He is a dog that "loves" a Job, loves to be working...but also "Loves" to be a House pet...extremely calm, loves people,
He is doing very well with earning his titles...Worked on his QAA title, and took some nice Jams...one time a 4th out of 56 dogs...He only has one more Master leg to complete for his Master Hunter Title through AKC and is also being run in HRC...and has 60 points toward his 100 points needed for his "Finished Title"...He has competed in HRC for his Upland title and qualified 4 for 4
Pledge has been Penn-Hipped and was 90%, He will be 5 in November....Serious enquiries "ONLY"...

Party Girl and Banshee heading out for Florida,...For USAR Training, both 1/2 sisters to Maranathas Black Powder show below.
Another Rising "Star" for Tampa Fire And Rescue in Tampa, Florida, ...."Party Girl" as we named her, (it was easy to name her with her fun personality)....left our Started Dog Program in June of 08, ...to Join Ranks with Lt. Roger Picard, to finish her USAR training, so she can go out in part in saving lives!
For those of you that do follow these dogs and their progress...we promise to keep you updated on her progress!
